Preparing for the Big Day
As I arrived at Foxfire for Lexi and Brett's special day, the crisp, warm air greeted me, hinting at the unforgettable moments to come. The sound of music drifting from a nearby cottage added to the anticipation of the day ahead.
Lexi's morning was filled with laughter, champagne, and the expert touch of her stylists from Bridal by Alexandria. Surrounded by her closest friends, the joy and excitement were palpable, setting a cheerful tone for the day. Meanwhile, Brett and his friends took to the trails, embracing the natural beauty of the Catskills. It was the perfect start to his wedding day, reflecting the couple's love for the outdoors and adventure.

The Outdoor Ceremony at Foxfire Mountain House
Personal Vows and a New Orlean’s Style Second Line
Lexi and Brett’s ceremony was a beautiful blend of their personalities and backgrounds. The ceremony site was covered in flowers and the aisle was lined with Persian rugs. At the end of the ceremony they had a Second Line to bring a taste of New Orleans to the Catskills, a nod to Lexi’s heritage, while the music and dancing paid homage to their shared love of the arts. Lexi's gown from Floravere, accentuated with a handcrafted cape by her mother, and Brett's indigo blue velvet jacket, thrifted to perfection, showcased their unique styles and deep connection to their families.
Foxfire Mountain House Wedding Reception:
A Night to Remember
The Foxfire Mountain House offered a spectacular setting for the reception, with its patchwork Moroccan tile dance floor and a greenhouse turned lounge by the pond. The ambiance was further enhanced by the floral arrangements by Sarah Monteiro, adding a touch of elegance and natural beauty to the venue. The Hudson Trailer Company was set up for the evening with their Photo Booth in the back of a cute vintage silver trailer. It ran all night for guest to enjoy a Photo Booth in style. The cut a gorgeous three layer naked cake by the Lucky Bird Bakery.
The Band: Silver Arrow Band
The Silver Arrow Band brought the house down, filling the night with music that had everyone on their feet. Lexi and Brett's love for music and dancing was evident, making the reception an unforgettable celebration of their journey together. Their guests stayed on the dance floor all night and filled the tent with love and laughter.
