I am a mother and a photographer. I’m a jeweler and a wanderlust traveler. I love to find beauty in the balance between the shadows and the light. They are rarely inseparable. They are complex and totally opposite and yet they can not live without the other. Just like real connection. What is real is beautiful.
Observation and Connection are the two most important intentions I hold when I photograph weddings. I love emotive images, full of connection and intimacy. I love what a Drama Queen nature can be and I try to honor your location choice in a creative way. Light is my partner in crime and we dance a jitterbug all day to bring your images to life.
I’ve spent over 10 years shooting all types of weddings, large and small, all over the country, and I’m so blessed that I get to do this work. Coming into this second decade of weddings, I am loving the continued addition of smaller, more intimate celebrations and elopements that 2020 brought- there is so much beauty in the space they hold. I’m so fortunate to live in such an incredible part of New York that lends itself to epic and beautiful locations no matter what the size or type of wedding you’re having.

There are not enough good things I can say about Sam. She is SO MUCH MORE than just a photographer. From my very first video call, Sam made me feel completely comfortable. She just has a way about her that makes you feel like everything is going to be okay no matter what. She worked with us to create a schedule that took advantage of every minute of her time so we could get as many photos as possible. She is so chill and down to earth, she got along with everyone, and she was actually fun to have around all day. She even danced with us and our friends on the dance floor at the end of the night.
